Fox News was on at the Post Office, I switched it to CNN!

I get so pissed at Quickie Marts etc... for having Fox News on when I go in to shop. I am tall enough to reach the elevated TV at the local Post Office. Nobody said a word. :-)

2. The post office has a TV?
They should run CSPAN or the Weather Channel instead.

5. To keep us from getting pissed at long line waits

This instance was at the Bellevue Post Office. Marta and I moved here last November, but Bellevue Steve didn't feel right after such a long time as OS. :-) The main Omaha office has a TV too.

7. That tv paid for with homeland security money?
You know, those millions that got spread around and still left us without port security?

I'm sure it'd be justifiable. Fox would be quick to broadcast TERROR! and let us know it's time to hang the plastic drop clothes.

13. I once pulled the plug on Fox in my local health clinic.
While waiting for my doctor, John Gibson's "The Big Story" was on. He was bashing democrats. There were about 10 people in there and no one was watching, so I strolled over and pulled the plug right out of the wall. Two guys looked up and said "thank you." The others went on reading their magazines. Even the philodendrum in the corner smiled.

14. Good for you
I remember on a cross country trip I made a few years ago (post 9/11) seeing FoxNews on at, it seemed, every airport I was in. Talk about brainwashing!

I have asked waiters at diners to switch the channel from Fox and they are pleased to accommodate.

I can't count how many times I've changed it away from Fox in hotel lobbies.
