Or Dodd?
Or Edwards?

1. Why is this scenario so difficult to imagine
I think a lot of people on this blog see Kucinich & Gravel as the ones they will agree with the most. But we refuse to vote for them because they are not the popular candidates. Basically they do not have the money the major candidates have to be seen as the a major candidate.

6. It's always the money that's mentioned first, and that's because it is the major
factor. The size of the war chests was as much in the news as the candidates themselves. It was actually stated that the ones with the most money are the ones who will be the frontrunners. Makes me want to cry.

4. Pit their shants took me a minute
I think the behavior of the party mainstream in the past few weeks will induce a lot of fence-sitters to go Kucinich. I recently made that decision myself (whereas before I was going to vote for any frontrunner against Clinton).

7. Dark horses have won before
Edited on Fri Sep-28-07 01:04 PM by Capn Sunshine
Bill Clinton was a dark horse. So was Jimmy Carter.
Alas, So was McGovern.

My take right now today is that Edwards Richardson or Dodd could come out after the convention as the candidate, if the top two burn each other up. Seeing the flaming arrows back and forth here between the camps is just a tiny slice of the party dynamic.

It's still anyones race to be won.
