Huckabee not making any fundraising headway...
Going to report $1 million raised, $600K on hand...

Potentially might have been strongest Republican...he is personable, and isn't afraid to not sound like a rabid rw whacko on the campaign trail (though he is one). He does have serious problems...a denial of evolution being one...

If he can't raise anymore than this he is going nowhere...

1. To demonstrate just how paltrey his fundraising numbers are,
(despite all the media attention about being THE dark horse), Al Franken outraised him (1.2 million) just in the Minnesota Senate race. Nebraska's Jon Bruning very quickly raised something like 700,000 in the Senate race for Hagel's seat last spring--in a rural, empty state. Huckleberry's doooooooomed.

2. I'm surprised. I thought he might be the dark horse and come up from behind...
...then the frontrunners fall flat on their faces.

3. He's their best candidate right now. He often comes off as quite reasonable. nt

4. Jesus, he gives me the creeps. Hope he drops out, and takes Brownback
and Tancredo with him--good riddance.

8. That's not cool
wishing a painful death on those we disagree with is NOT progressive.

9. Thank God for that! He's the only R worth being scared of.
But they're too dumb to support him, which is par for the course..

Cool.
