1. How about romney
saying he would have to ask his attorneys about whether he could go to war without congressional approval, from the last debate?

7. I hope our nominee really hits hard on the national outrage
produced by the fiasco in New Orleans and elsewhere.I think most people watched it unfold and realized how little our government cared about anyone who doesn't fit into the "have and have mores" catagory. There are so many stark, sybolic images of what the republican mantra of "less government" really looks like.

4. Use the 52 "Impeach Bush" cards as a resource
Any one of the cards has enough information on it for a good argument. Great reference material.:applause:

8. A Bill of Impeachment.
Impeachment forces a comprehensive "up or down vote." It can force Republicans to go on record defending the worst of the recent past with the maximum public attention.

The party’s historical "weakness" is what got us into this mess. It pervades the electorate’s view on all other issues. A display of resolve now could erase decades of damage.

And, WHATEVER the vote count in the House or Senate, casting a Yea vote to impeach/remove for torture is only way by which those who are in Congress fulfill their oath and break the bond of complicity.

Impeachment: It's not just the RIGHT thing to do; it is the WINNING thing to do.

10. It depends on who gets the Rep nomination
It will need to be specific to that person to work...but there are mountians of goodies to choose from.

12. Some should be specific to the candidate,
but there are strong images and sound bites that we can use to paint the whole republican philosophy as bankrupt. How about Barbara Bush's"Why should we worry our pretty little minds"quote.Doesn't that just about sum up the true republican values?

11. In general, just use their own words and deeds against them. That would
be enough, if the Dems are brave and tough enough to do it.
