2008 senate races update
Here are some approval ratings from that were just released last week on Oct 18, and signs are encouraging in several states, as several republican incubments were below the key 50% mark:

Kentucky (Mitch McConnell)

approve: 49%
disapprove: 45%

Oregon (Gordon Smith)

approve: 49%
disapprove: 42%

Minnesota:

Norm Coleman:
approve: 49%
disapprove: 42%

Amy Klobuchar:
approve: 59%
disapprove: 32%

Colemen getting 49% approval is a disgrace

I am getting pretty much convienced we deserve exactly what we get

Forclosures, bankrupcies, jobs off-shored, endless war, 50 million uninsured, a woman's right to choose

After 8 years of lies and treachery, and people are still as dumb as they were in 2000

I will vote straight Democrat in 2008, and do what I can to get out the vote, but if the same republican crap that got us into this mess is elected again, I give up

Do you have a link, or can you tell me who did the poll? It sure doesn't correlate with everything else I have been hearing concerning our races in the Senate

5. more news
McConnel in Kentucky's approval/disapproval rating in July was 51-40, so 49-45 last week looks better for us.

Norm Coleman in Minnesota's approval/disapproval rating fluctuates a little. July had it at 43-48, so Norm the two-face is definitely vulnerable.

Gordon Smith in Oregon consitently polls around 48-42, so there is hope but some work to be done.
