25. They're owned by the European conglomerate Unilever
But Big Evil Corporations aren't as big and evil when their marketing team maintains a branding for their products that appeals to the so-called counter-culture.

It also doesn't hurt when they make really yummy ice cream like Ben and Jerry's do.

32. Too bad they use HFCS instead of cane sugar...
I'm guessing that if Ben and Jerry were still managing the shop, we might see that.

you know nestlé, right?
"The international boycott against Nestle is very much alive since its launch two decades ago. This boycott is still on because Nestle continues to employ unethical marketing tactics in many countries.

Nestle is one of the world's largest food manufacturers, with a turnover of U.S. $42 billion. It controls approximately 40% of the worldwide market for baby food. It influences UN systems, food legislation, market trends and company behavior more than any other food company.

Nestle's persistence in violating the World Health Organization (WHO)'s International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes was once again revealed in a four-country research commissioned by the Interagency Group on Breastfeeding Monitoring (IGBM). Entitled 'Cracking the Code', the report reveals the massive scale of company marketing malpractice."

17. Not Nestle
Unilever

Would rather that they had stayed independent but they seem to have pretty much left them alone.

34. nestle is unilever's sycophant
or the other way around.

"What does the Nestle's purchase of a majority share in Dreyer's mean for Unilever's superpremium brand Ben & Jerry's? Will Dreyer's continue to be the major distributor for Unilever's recently acquired superpremium or allow contracts to expire as happened a decade ago when Ben & Jerry's tried to go it alone in distribution? Of course, Ben & Jerry's is the most successful of Dreyer's partner brands, so there are solid revenue reasons for maintaining the relationship."

6. I recommend the New York Super Fudge Chunk.
It's good if you like chocolate and nuts.

And no, I'm not going to make the joke about that flavor being an endorsement of an Obama/Gravel ticket. Shame on all of you for thinking that.

14. Not for me-i hate peaches
when I was a child the only time my family made ice cream was during peach season. It was always peach ice cream and I had to churn it. UGH! Later when I was in college some friends suggested we make some ice cream- I said, "No Way! I hate home made ice cream." They over ruled me and made vanilla - it was delicious and the first time I realized that home made ice cream didn't mean peach ice cream. I love Willy but you and he can eat all that peach cobbler stuff-UGH!

The shortbread and the peaches are such a delicious combination. :9

Colbert's flavor tastes stale. Frozen stale cone isn't tasty.
