WTF is that all about?

Ron Paul is a republican.

Bottom line: No decent human being would even consider belonging to the republican party.

Yeah, he seems a little better than most republicans...but haven't we all learned that we can never trust a republican, because they all lie and do whatever needs to be done to get elected and further the cause of corporate fascism?

If Ron Paul wants my consideration as a viable candidate, he will denounce the republican party as a thereat to our national security, and become at the very least an Independent, but preferably become a Democrat.

2. In fairness, AA is not a Democratic radio network
They can run ads from anyone who pays for them. Democratic candidates in my state ran ads on rightie talk radio stations.

That said, I agree with you about Paul. No Democrat or progressive/liberal should even consider him as a viable candidate. However, I don't think even changing his party affiliation would mitigate it. He has espoused racist views and is anti-choice.

4. So maybe the corporatists are using Paul to siphon Independents
away from voting Democrat?

5. Probably. The Paul supporters in my area appear to be pretty well-funded.
There are phony "handmade" signs sprouting up all over the place here.

3. Just step away from the vehicle....
Ron "The Libertarian-Drown-the-Federal-Government-Burn-the-Constitution-Nutjob"Paul would not get my support even if he declared himself a Democrat or an Independent.
He is, at best a distraction and at worst someone who will siphon votes from legitimate candidates - an unthinking person's Ralph Nader, but even more dangerous.

6. I hear Glenn Beck ads on Air America XM all the time . . . . .
makes me wanna hurl. I figure XM is slapping some of their bulk ad purchases on AA, since I never hear those ads when I listen on AM to my local AA affiliate.

Having said that, I did hear Bill O'Reilly for a while last week on SF's local Air America station -- still don't know WTF that was about. . . . . anybody else hear that?

7. Are you sure Ron Paul is a Republican?
The reason I say this... because the freeper forum says he isn't a Republican. You should read how they attack him, they are very cruel to their own kind if he is with them.

8. A Libertarian/Republican...

Or something like that...

Whatever the case, he's still a member of the 'Republic Party'

9. Worse than Ron Paul.... I heard CHIMPY on an ad on my local AAR affiliate
I don't ever want to hear that fucking piece of shit on a liberal radio station. What were they thinking, running that ad?
