GORE: "Whichever Party wins the WH, we will see a change in Climate Change Policy" -- WTF

Does Al care about the impact of what he is saying? The attitude that Repubs and Dems have just about
the same results is what put GW in the White House in the first place.

I am really dissapointed!!

2. bullshit. that's patently ridiculous. If you think that repuke's will
take climate change seriously, I have the proverbial bridge to sell you.

3. One of the reasons he says that is because this really isn't a partisan issue - - it's a moral issue
There are Republican governors and mayors and Congressfolk who are all on the right side of this issue. There are millions of grassroots Republicans who want to something meaningful done to save the planet. Ditto Independents.

That's a good thing. We need everybody working to solve this crisis, or the human race may be history.

5. Sadly, I think this is truly wishful thinking on Gore's part regarding the Republicans.

15. Othan McCain, I agree with you
And he is so awful on foreign policy, that his long environmental record is beside the point. Most of them do not believe in the science.

6. Well... he might be right
With the Repubs, it might be worse (more likely)
The Deoms, might be better (more likely)

9. Not exactly ... what he DID say was
"The new president, whichever party wins the election, is likely to have to change the position on this climate crisis," Gore said in the interview. "I do believe the U.S., soon, is to have a more constructive role."

12. There is a clear and HUGE difference between the positions
of all the dem candidates and all the repuke candidates. And frankly, I think Gore should acknowledge that.

10. I agree with his actual quote
"The new president, whichever party wins the election, is likely to have to change the position on this climate crisis," Gore said in the interview. "I do believe the U.S., soon, is to have a more constructive role."

People are beginning to see tangible effects and politicians will start changing as the population begins to be more vocal about it.

climate change, and I've heard several knock it.

But he is talking about in the near future. The public view is changing and the politicians will have to change with them.

18. That's how I took it...
But think it would've been helpful to our candidates if he'd made a distinction.
