What am I supposed to do....hum Everything is Beautiful?
Everything is be-oooo-ti-ful
in its own waaaaaaaaaaay
hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmhm
hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm.

There. That makes me a better Don`t-Worry-Be-Happy-Democrat, more acceptable to the Cohesion-At-All-Cost crowd. Good. That`s my goal. Lord knows there are waaaay too many rabblerousers waving protest signs and causing commotion out there. Probably better to just calm right down and go the ANYBODY BUT BUSH route. Remember that one? *ABB* Forget the conscience thing. That`s waaay too involved. And forget all the unpleasant chatter about corporate influence vs. real change. We can change at a later date. Right now we just need to get some more power.

I mean....can you imagine dragging America through impeachment hearings? Right in the middle of an amost-recession? Wouldn`t that be bad for our National Mood? For Retail Sales? And don`t most governments torture? How else can they get Unknown State Secrets and directions to some of the dicey off-road sites? And could we stop yakking about Hurricane Katrina? It`s simple. Even though cabs don`t cost THAT much, folks didn`t leave.

We`re in a Planned Correction. A certain number of jobs are scheduled to be ended and a certain number of people can`t afford health insurance. Politicians already figured that in. Would we want one of those Nanny States where absolutely anyone could walk into a medical place and get their swollen glands looked at? What if their glands weren`t really swollen after all? Wouldn`t that be a giant waste?

We HAVE to stay in Iraq. Why? Because we can`t leave. Why? Because it would look bad. Why? Because we`re Number One. These cut-and-runners have to start thinking about our National Honor. I am. That`s why I`m willing to go along to get along and take a stand against making waves.
