Huckabee's 1992 AIDS "quarantine" comment


I just heard him say that he stands by his comment, in 1992, that AIDS infected people should be quarantined. He based his justification for making that outrageous statement on his claim that "we didn't know how it was transmitted".

What planet was this idiot living on?
Magic Johnson came out in 1991 and we were well aware, by then, how HIV/AIDS was transmitted.
Why isn't the press calling him out on this nonsensical blabber?

4. he didn't know.
i knew in the 80s how it was transmitted. in 1990, i did volunteer work in an AIDS hospice. never once did i worry about being infected. what planet is this man living on?
