Bill Clinton Heckled In Iowa City Last Night By ... A Robot

IOWA CITY, IA, Dec 10 - A man dressed in a silver metallic suit, a matching helmet and dark glasses heckled Bill Clinton Monday at his last campaign stop.

About seven minutes into the former president’s fourth speech of the day, the man stood on a chair on the press riser and shouted that robots wanted Clinton to say he was sorry for statements he made 15 years ago.

"Bill Clinton, I want you to apologize to Sister Souljah. Robots of the world want you to apologize to Sister Souljah. We want you to apologize,” the man said as one observer gasped "Oh my God.”

A volunteer demanded to know who had let him in and the audience heckled the heckler with boos and screams of "Get out of here!” He then threw dozens of orange, green, hot pink and yellow cards into the air. A woman yanked what appeared to be a microphone out of the man’s hands, and he was escorted out of the room without further incident.

The cards read: "Robots are mad at Bill. MR-IFOBCA stands for Mad Robots In Favor Of Bill Clinton Apologizing. Mr. Ifobca says, "Bill Clinton should be ashamed of himself for slandering a Black woman named Sister Souljah," followed by a website address (www.Mr-Ifobca.org ). Posted on the site is a "manifesto" entitled “"Why Did I Bum Rush Bill Clinton?”

9. No. He took her to task for saying that there should be a day when black people kill white people.
This is an old old story. Sister Souljah gave a speech saying that black people should stop killing one another. Tongue in cheek, she suggested that they should kill white people for a change. Bill Clinton, on the campaign stump, said that that was a dumb thing to say. People said he dissed Sister Souljah.

Shows you how far we've come since 1991. Now we debate waterboarding.

11. I don't know, he seems about as rational as any other Clinton hater.
Newsworthy would be a reasonable adult who doesn't like Democrats.
I could see getting the microphones out and writing a story for something like that.

12. I notice you didn't include in the OP Bill's awesome response that brought the crowd to its feet.

They played it on the news today. Unlike some, who love to ridicule one of our best Democratic presidents ever, the MSM showed Clinton responding to the heckler with class and wit unmatched by anyone else in the game.

edit: Nevermind, I found it here.... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/

Clinton was a sport about it. I think he thought it was funny but he told the heckler that he should be more envionmentally cautious. LOL!

15. It Wasn't The (Deserved) Slander, It Was Where He Chose to Do It
In front of Jesse Jackson's Rainbow coalition, to show that he wasn't one of those "soft liberals" beholden to the demands of the black community. In case moderates didn't get the message, he left the campaign trail to personally watch the execution of Rickey Ray Rector, a 40-year-old black man convicted of killing a police officer.

Rector was definitely brain damaged. And he was certainly dead after Gov. Clinton took time out to send a powerful message to Americans about the kind of Democrat they could expect.
