Morgan Stanley issues full US recession alert
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?view=DETAILS&grid=A1YourView&xml=/money/2007/12/11/cnusa111.xml

Morgan Stanley has issued a full recession alert for the US economy, warning of a sharp slowdown in business investment and a "perfect storm" for consumers as the housing slump spreads.

No one saw this coming.... :sarcasm:

3. They don't want to poop on the Xmas shopping parade
They want people who can still leverage debt on plastic to go out and spend like crazy, get those plasma TVs and Iphones and personal DVD players and all the other consumer junk the stores have in stock before they announce what we've all known for months some time in January, when retail stores are closing all over the place after bad sales because most of us aint that stupid and know we're already over our heads in debt and they can't deny reality of all the "GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! CLEARANCE! EVERYTHING MUST GO!" signs.

They're just trying to squeeze the last bit out of the credit bubble they can before it pops.

with this informative blockbuster. It is a good time to sell off the rest of America.
