Clinton and RNC on same page about Obama

At 8:21 a.m., Phil Singer of the Clinton camp e-mailed a http://dyn.politico.com/printstory.cfm?uuid=C906328B-3048-5C12-007DE179B9A5D1D5">Politico story on Sen. Barack Obama. His subject line was "Politico: Liberal views could haunt Obama," which was the headline of the story.

At 8:32 a.m., Danny Diaz of the Republican National Committee sent an e-mail with the same story, same subject line. The only difference between the two e-mails is that Diaz capitalized every letter in his headline.

4. Last 2 paragraphs are most interesting
Whatever the openings for attacking Obama, the bizarre, fluid calculus of this cycle could wind up scrambling the strategic plans of both parties. The Republican field also has its share of candidates who have struggled to square their political past with their presidential future.

“What happens if both parties nominate a candidate who can’t win?” asked Mahoney, the GOP strategist. “We may find out.”
