1. So Clinton is supported by richer people. What is that supposed to prove?
Isn't this just more evidence that she is Republican-Lite?

3. Do you know if it's richer people,
or just more contributions?

6. The people who lost their jobs thanks to NAFTA do not have

any money to give to any campaign. Neither do the people whose homes are being foreclosed nor those for whom repaying student loans demands the greatest portion of their paychecks. So you and I may not be rich by our standards, but if we can afford to send $25 to a candidate, we are relatively rich. We send discretionary money, not money we have to have for necessities. We are, therefore, richer. The really poor may favor a particular candidate, but they cannot send donations.

8. she's getting more big money donations; less contributions overall
You can click on the map at that link to see the contributions.

For example at the 503 zip code, where they all got the most money:
Obama has 74 contributions, of which only a couple are of the $2300 variety, for a total of $29,804.

Clinton has just 43 contributions, most of which are $2300 or $1000, for a total of $65,199.

It's the same story elsewhere.

Just curious. Pretty close among the top three regardless.

5. So Hillary got $10,000 more than Obama...SO WHAT?
Edited on Sat Dec-15-07 11:35 PM by earthlover
Heck, Romney got more than Hillary. Does that mean Romney will win over the Dems? Heck, he can't even beat Huckleberry in Iowa with all that money!

7. When the numbers are that close, contributors are what matters.
