OMG --- Have you read the DM Register's comments rolling in re: the endorsements?

I believe they're up to 37 pages or more and a good majority of the people writing in are LIVID.

There are a few people popping in to show their support - but there's far more people stunned by not only Clinton, but with McCain as well

The comments start right after this article ------ (37+ pages)

14. Did Democrats not vote for them in NYC???
I'm confused. How did they get elected if NYC Democrats didn't vote for them?

Yes, NYC, i cannot understand how we voted for that steaming pos Giuliani. i can only apologize to world. that man is ----

BUT, Bloomberg is a democrat, He pays kids out of his own pocket to keep them in school, and is a great mayor. We all know he's been a democrat his whole life, switched to being a republican so he could win the nom, b/c he couldn't as a dem, the seat was taken. He's got a 75% approval rating, b/c he's a great mayor. Don't bother pigeon holing him as a pub, he's crazy into education and the environment, raised taxes to give teachers and cops raises, staunch anti-death penalty, donates money and equiptment to the city, moral dude. i didn't vote for him the first time, can't remember about the 2nd time, but wish he could be our mayor again. I'm not saying he's perfect, but he's a great mayor.

And i'll never understand for the life of me how giuliani won. the worlds only saving grace is that he is falling in the polls.

34. That is good to hear about Bloomberg
I wasn't sure what he was actually doing in New York because some people's idea of liberal is way different than mine. I live in Oregon. I have noticed people accept things as normal that people out here would be shocked at. We will never think of our forests as tree plantations that are supposed to be perpetually harvested, for instance. We also don't seem to be as punitive as some regions, and I've honestly never lived anywhere that the hospitals turned people away for medical care. So I think people have a very different vision of what government ought to be.

24. Wow...they counted out Edwards, Obama & Richardson
for being too ambitious.

They counted out Biden & Dodd for being too accomplished in Government.

They counted out Kucinich completely.

the "right" candidate, you think nobody would post in complaint? That's silly - of course there will be be people bitching and moaning, no matter who they endorsed.

I saw the comments before this thread was posted. It's easy to distinguish exactly when DU comments started appearing on the DMR board.

No doubt most of the hate mail came straight from Obama's HQ.
