Poll question: 12-26-2007 DU final four poll-GD-P
This is the third poll in this series, an identical poll is in GD.

DU's final four candidates are listed alphabetically. Keep this kicked.

1. This shows why Iowa sucks.
Because by the time the choice gets to me, my guy isn't on the ballot.

4. That favors big money candidates. I'd prefer that corporations can't buy elections easier than now.

5. I should have included public funding
Edited on Wed Dec-26-07 12:44 PM by goddess40
or having only humans contributing each a limited amount.

edit: with real debates where each canidate gets to answer all the questions with reasonably equal time.

6. That does make it better.
Still, I'd prefer that there were still certain states used to give voters a chance to get up close and personal with the candidates. Naturally I don't think it should always be Iowa and NH, but I think the idea of randomly drawn first states or rotating regional primaries would be the best.

9. Don't despair
Richardson earlier today said that he is going to stick through Feb. 5th, and I hope that all will do the same.

20. Could too many repugs Caucus with democrats and
muddle the issue by voting for the least electable candidate?
I would limit voting to registered democrats only.

26. I don't know about that....this Virginian
thinks the delegate count is going to be very close by Feb 12, even after Super Duper Tuesday.

I think no matter who wins IOWA, it will be the kick off towards the bloodiest campaign since the Civil War

8. I realize that this is for DUers only
but not having Clinton here is ridiculous. She is a credible candidate and even if she loses Iowa and New Hampshire, and even SC, she will come back Feb. 5th.

(I voted for Biden, by the way..)

13. She Didn't Get Enough Votes In The Last Round
and therefore was eliminated from this round,
just like Dodd, Richardson & Gravel were eliminated in earlier rounds.

If more of her supporters had voted for her in the last poll
she would be on the list this time.
Maybe all her supporters did vote
but there just aren't that many of them.
All I see is small but very vocal minority.

14. This is why I think Biden will do very well in Iowa....top 3 ?
He seems to be the second choice of Clinton supporters. She has never done well on any blog strawpolls as far as I know.

30. All announced candidate polls began in September, then DU's top six
Edited on Wed Dec-26-07 06:49 PM by bobthedrummer
(both Senator Clinton and Bill Richardson were part of the DU top six) these are the DU final four based on total votes cast over time-ridiculous or not these candidates are DU's final four as far as the total DU votes cast in all those polls.

Here and in the real world my vote is again with Dennis Kucinich.

it's a non event. He has the most supporters on this board, and the way I see it, has for a long time. Of course I don't think this board mirrors reality though...but he wins here most of ther time.
