Is Rasmussen afraid of polling Iowa?
Edited on Tue Jan-01-08 12:52 AM by antiimperialist
I noticed that Rasmussen likes to play it safe.
He did not poll Iowa in 2004, as far as I know, a week before the elections. I'm not sure he polled Iowa primaries at all. He shows no signs of doing it now. Polling Iowa in mid-December is not risky because if he's off he could turn around and say that well, the poll was too distant from the actual vote in terms of time.
It's very difficult to get Iowa right. Is Rasmussen trying to maintain his reputation as the most accurate pollster?
He's been accurate lately in presidential elections. Why not take a chance?
