It's clearly being put out there - like the Swiftboat ads - and it needs to be countered (I don't mean that to be anti-Muslim; it's hard to phrase what I'm saying without sounding insulting - but it's a tactic to tap into peoples' fears and in that sense it is being employed unfairly).

It seems about once a week someone calls in and always manages
to work in something about Obama being a Muslim.

I really do not believe it matters that much. It always sounds
as if they are trying to stir up something.
