Woman Who Made Hillary Cry Voted For Obama
<snip>

The woman whose empathetic question "how do you do it?" sparked uncharacteristic emotion Monday from Sen. Hillary Clinton ended up voting for Sen. Barack Obama in the New Hampshire primary.

Marianne Pernold Young, 64, a freelance photographer from Portsmouth, N.H., told ABC News that while she was moved by Clinton's emotional moment, she was turned off by how quickly the New York senator regained her "political posture."

"I went to see Hillary. I was undecided and I was moved by her response to me," Pernold Young said in a telephone interview with ABC News. "We saw 10 seconds of Hillary, the caring woman."

"But then when she turned away from me, I noticed that she stiffened up and took on that political posture again," she said. "And the woman that I noticed for 10 seconds was gone."

1. When the criteria for WHO we vote for comes down to this kind of crap.........
there should be no wonder WHY we are in such a disastrous mess. The last seven years have been 'GREAT' because so many voters thought GWB would be the guy they wanted to go have a beer with.

2. I hereby officially apologize for accusing Team Hillary of using this
woman as a "plant." Maybe Hillary really did have an unplanned ver klempt moment.

3. There has been way too much made of Hillary's "weepy moment".
A little further in the article the woman gave her reason for voting for Obama.

"I went to see Obama on Friday and he moved me to tears, I was in awe," she said in a telephone interview with ABC News. "I'm 64 years old and nobody does that to me."

She didn't base her vote on Hillary's tears, but on her own.

6. The wrong conclusion. Not the crying, the media bashing. Not pity - REVENGE!
Those who fail to get this, will pay the price.
Run against the senator, not "the girl"

4. People don't look at the candidates for their stand on issues
They want to know what color underwear they have on.

Too many uninformed people think this is a popularity contest and listen to the talking heads and make their minds up on the most petty of bull shit.
How much they paid for a hair cut or if their wife said something to one of the other candidates and because they regained their composure too quickly.

No wonder we have an imbecile as President.

5. When I watched the misty moment clip, I kept thinking of the old Clairol ads -
"When you're done for the day, your hair isn't"

Seriously. LOL. Isn't it funny how we don't even realize how imprinted we are from old marketing? I really thought she looked terrific, not to be superficial or anything.

7. She's sort of like the chad lady in Florida
The idiot asked the key question that defeated her candidate. LOL.

8. People like Marianne Pernold Young are the reason we have the Electoral College system...

Back then, as now, many people were just too ignorant to vote on actual issues, but our ancestors had a good excuse: Access to information and in a timely manner was difficult at best, even for the well-off. Nowadays, there's no excuse for not having access to information to educate yourself on the issues and the candidates' positions, but that's not going to stop people from letting their inner-moron cast their vote over the most inane and irrelevant stuff. If Edwards or Obama had been the one to cry and then get their composure back in a few seconds, it seems to me by Ms. Young's own words that she would take it to mean they're of strong character, yet capable of showing their Humanity. With Clinton, Ms. Young must think that clearly she was using the waterworks to capture to whiny crybaby vote. I'm not a Hillary supporter, but I know bullshit when I read it and I know when someone has managed to unearn their right to vote. Ms. Young, you're pissing in the election pool. Please cut up and throw away your voter registration card; stop voting until you can prove you can vote like an adult and not some teenager voting for the 8th-grade Class President.

10. Next to last paragraph is especially telling
and shows why Hillary is so polarizing and a terrible candidate overall-- she turns voters off.
