Great post. Mr. AC and I also think these things would change elections too
1) Election Day is Veteran's Day. Falls mid-week so folks don't just go on vacation and are around to vote. Honors veterans by using one of the freedoms for which they've fought. More people off work that day so they are more likely to go to the polls instead of staying home when they don't want to wait in line after work.

2) Abolish the primaries/caucuses and just have the GE...and instant run-off elections. Vote for your top three in order of preference.

3) Media blackout of election day coverage for a week before the election (no straw or exit polling, no interviews unless equal time is given to all candidates, no "human interest" stories about the candidates, their families, their pets and other nonsense, etc).

4) Free beer (okay, well just kidding...I think).
