1. If Edwards pulls support in this range (8-12%) on primary day
Edited on Thu Jan-17-08 02:14 PM by Fabio
what do you think the ramifications are given that he is (technically) a native son?

13. It means it's over.
You can't get 8% at home and be considered viable.

8. So would I!!!
50% of the Democratic voters in the state are African Americans.

That translates into an Obama Win.

18. I was talking about the Demographic profile they used
Are they profiling a 50% AA turnout? Are they using historic averages? Are they bumping the number up the AA turnout because of the Obama Factor?

They really do not go into any detail.

3. Edwards won this state in 2004 with 45% of the vote
ARG has been very bad lately, but I don't doubt Edwards will come in a distant 3rd here. He shouldn't have focused so much on Iowa, imo.

17. Wouldn't it sound ridiculous if Obama side said that about 24% of the women?

7. Maybe Edwards can get supporters bussed in for him on the day of the vote?
Oh yeah, that only worked in the "no I.D." caucus in Iowa.

16. Edwards practically lived in Iowa for 4 years campaigning.
Don't blame imaginary bussed in voters for his second place showing.
