We can see the change you really want and as a life long Democrat, I want no part of it. Younger African American will not remember the Reagan Years, but older African Americans will, you will not be able to keep busing in students like you did in Iowa. When all is said and done and people go into the voting booth, we shall see where your hope and change takes us.

5. I think the book needs to be fully examined.

In it, Obama defends and promotes policy positions that run counter to what many Democrats and liberals on DU have fought against.

If I could do it anonymously, I'd post up a bunch of his stated positions from that book without attaching his name to them and sit back while heads explode here.

I listened in the early months to Obama's message and when he threw boomers under the bus to promote his generational war I asked myself "Is he American enough?" I watched as he threw gays under the bus (it did not start with McClurkin) and I knew he was both personally homophobic and very cynical. I cried as he pushed the race debate for the purpose of winning South Carolina while risking the party and the country and asked myself "How selfish can one man be?" As he went on and pushed forward his attack dog JJJr. to insult women I knew for sure - "He is not a Democrat".

I am old and have been involved in every civil and human rights movement of the past half century. I don't want this poser representing my party or my country.
