So, where is the report on JE's $7M fund-raising day? I've looked around. Not a word. What's up? n.t

1. I would like to know how much he raised also.
The silence tells me the goal was not met or the campaign would be all over it.

3. To my knowledge, nobody has heard anything yet.
The actual numbers would have to come from the campaign itself, and since they weren't directly involved, it might take a while to tabulate them. The campaign knew this was happening, but I'm not really sure who is responsble for releasing donation figures.

I think we did pretty well, considering it was a grassroots movement that was put together in just a few days.

5. That's what I was thinking, but who on Earth, set the goal sooooo high.
I'm no expert, but when I saw that I was wondering how they came up with such a high goal.

I did my part anyway. And whatever happened, it's still Edwards or Un-committed ALL of the Way for me.

6. I think they copied Ron Paul Vendetta day stunt. Except that was planned months ahead
and every supporter that would have given - withheld their donation until that particular day. Not much before, not much after. That was the secret of Ron Paul's miracle. he got plenty of media for it - but also delayed donations from early supporters. he didn't get more money - just all his money in one day.
Edwards's supporters donations have been ongoing - so I very much doubt it came nearly close.

7. Someone over at DailyKos set the goal.
Apparently it was based on Ron Paul's top one day donations, plus $1 million.

And the bottom line was an attempt to force the media to mention Edwards, which they seem bound and determined to bury.

That alone is enough for me to vote for Edwards. If the powerful media corporations like Clear Channel, GE, Disney, and Time/Warner all want Barack or Hillary to win, that's enough to convince me Edwards is the right candidate to fix the problems we have in this country.

Kind of like if it's good for Bush, it's bad for Americans...

4. Either Way
He needs the money to continue on through to the convention.
John is driving the debate and thats worth every dollar we can send.
I consider it money well spent.

10. Email them and ask!
info@johnedwards.com

Tell them you gave and want to know the total for yesterday. Can't hurt.
