How many delegates awarded to whom in NV?
And how do those numbers compare to the delegates up for grabs in SC?

1. Rural areas get more weight
If I understand correctly, so we'll see how it all ends up. I don't know which state has more delegates though.

I understood the casino sites would not make up more than 6% of the state's delegates. I hope the Clintons shoved all their efforts there and end up losing delegates in the end because of it.

13. I just heard from a friend in Elko County - Obama won it, that is a miracle!
The dem party was almost dead there 4 years ago.

2. These wins will be "proportional" - so a win is not quite a big deal - the delagate count will be
possibly close right up to the convention - or until all but one folds up shop.

7. Cool - That will change the arithmetic a bit n/t
Just heard regarding the NV votes - Obama won black voters 5 to 1, and Hillary won Latino voters 3 to 1. But black voters only make up 7% of the voters in NV, and Latinos make up 25%.

12. Yeah, it's a nice moral victory for Clinton in NV, but SC makes it far from over.
Hillary gets the story of the win in NV, and that's good for her, but it'll be pretty close with the awarding of delegates. There are more chips on the table in SC, and if Obama can win there, the story shifts back to him.

8. They have some screwy weighting system where some caucuses get more delegates
for the same number of voters present in other caucuses. So we can't tell until they post them.

Nevada had 25 delegates available to assign today
South Carolina has 45 available
