The Clintons have been dividing people their whole life
And now they've gotten the Democratic Party divided! Their modus operandi is 'divide and conquer.' Now that the Democratic Party is divided, how the hell does anyone expect Hillary to united the country behind her? Or better yet, how will she even unite Congress? I'm really tired of the divide and conquer politics of the 90's and Rove. Nothing gets done in this country and we the people only suffer for it.

1. Nobody is more divisive than Barack Obama. Ask any gay or baby boomer to begin with.

7. You missed his sermon today, didn't you :(
Too bad, it was great.

But before you throw stones, you really should peek around in Clinton's past some more :)

15. I want a candiadte to give a SPEECH, not a SERMON
Especially one patronizing GLBT Americans as only good enough to be "embraced."

Senator Clinton has a very good GLBT record, both her voting record and her involvement in the community.

19. Does she now? I beg to differ.
She has a couple "ex-gay" skeletons hanging in her closet.

And YES, he was asked to give a speech/sermon at a CHURCH in recognition of MLK day. *gasp*

If you're talking about McClurkin onstage with Bill in '92...well, McClurkin was out and proud back then.

41. Not like Huckabee, you idiot
Huck was going on tirades about how the Constitution should be, uh, "corrected" to better conform with Scripture-- or at least, his and his backers' own twisted variety of Scripture.

Obama OTOH gave an outstanding, heartwarming, unifying and very intelligent speech. I'm not backing him, but it was truly something to behold.

8. We're the ones who should die, right?
So they can rule and save the world?

I'm pretty sure I read something about how long would they have to wait till the upper boomers "got out of the way."

Such a charming sentiment. Made me want to unite like crazy.

11. As a baby boomer I resent that!!
Obama supports raising the cap on the Social Security tax which will resolve the stabiltiy "issue" for decades. Hillary is afraid to inconvienience the affluent and would probably entertain benefit slashing first. I think she's throwing us under the bus. Raising the cap is a simple logical means to solve any perceived problem.

I heard one of the volunteer, but no answer from Obama. So, the question is this a Hillary wedge tactic? or a Freeper wedge tactic. It's hard to tell anymore.

42. I'm a boomer and I stand with Barack.
And anyone who is so shallow as to not read the man's words and research his deeds deserves the government that the Clintons will bring. If you love more of the 51-49 polarity, go for it. Hill's your girl.

The upper income people and rich college kids who vote for him? As opposed to the working class people and seniors on social security who trust and vote for Hillary Clinton?

The spoiled brats hoping the boomers just die?

25. Hillary's Social Security position is scary...
If she cuts benefits a lot of people would suffer. She should support raising the cap! Her lack of support should scare the hell out of seniors and those of us who will depend on Social Security.

Yeah, I can understand the connection to the middle class working people. Cause all of them have sat in the oval office, lit a cigar with a $100 bill while getting a BJ from an intern.

Happens everyday at the construction site.

Wasn't it 70% or something? That's what I call a divider alright. The Obama nuts are trying to rewrite history for the sake of a some guy who thinks he's Martin Luther King.

40. Per my African-American friends-- Clintons already destroyed great Dem coalition since FDR
It wasn't just the race-baiting, but the very distinct perception of the Clinton campaign trying to close down voting stations in Nevada or shut down caucus sites, the New Hampshire GOTV interference, going into Iowa like that and trying to disenfranchise college students. It's just a terrible, divisive way to run a campaign.
