The more this campaign becomes about Bill Clinton, the more Hillary loses.
Clinton supporters here can rant and rage all they want. They can rationalize
and attack Obama with everything they have. Bill being an issue in this campaign
does not help Hillary. It may have produced some short term benefits up till now,
but it is not effective long-term.

It crowds out her message. It keeps her from looking like this is her race.
It may even give the nomination to Obama.

It would hurt her big time in the fall.

16. Senator Kennedy does not think he is "doing something right."
"Ted Kennedy Tells Bill Clinton to Butt Out."

3. If he can continue...
to push people around and claim organizations that dare to endorse another candidate are anti-American...the eventual winner should be ready for the GOP-slim-fest that awaits them.

4. I think it does not matter: the media will spin anything anti clinton
so, it really does not matter either way. The citizens must see the political games Obama is playing for themselves. The media will help Obama get elected.

5. I'm not for Obama or Clinton, but I think you have raised a valid point
Bill will overshadow his wife in the minds of the public.

11. Winning? Obama tied and beat her in delegates in the last two contests.
If that's your definition of "winning"....

vote.

10. I don't agree
At least in Massachusetts, where I worked with many independents and Republicans, they really liked Bill a lot because they associated him with a good economy and good gains on their 401K. I think if Hillary is the nominee, she'll need Bill to win over Independents and moderate Republicans. I think he'll be key to her victory. Also, let's remember that as a result of the Lewinksy scandal, Bill's approval ratings went up to the mid-60s and stayed there.

12. Absolutely
Take Bill out and there is nothing left to support. 60% of her supporters are voting more for Bill than her, that was seen in the NH poll.

13. I like both Clintons but am already tired of the theatrics.....
I'm beginning to think change from the last 16 years as good as the years were under Bill is what I would really appreciate....

15. That's why Obama is talking about taking him on.
It makes it hard for the Clinton camp to respond, I think. If he responds, she's marginalized; and the only other option is to lower his profile, even though his profile helps her on the ground.

This is an interesting season to watch, that's for sure!
