the common wisdom deep into the primary season was the edwards was the best candidate but Kerry would win...why ? because he had polled better in previous primaries? why did he poll better? because they thougt he would win the nomination...

the whole time they were like, this had a bad reaction with folks --- and then the little line on the screen didn't move at all.

Then they were like, Obama got a 20 point jump here -- and the line didn't move.

I'm like, WTF, what's the point of this if you can't see the line moving?
