Great pic of the top three in today's NYT

IN HAPPIER TIMES Hours before the debate, the candidates attended a King rally in Columbia, S.C.

6. By comparison the Repukes look like wax museum figures.
When the Repukes line up for their debates it looks like a DisneyWorld exhibit. What great candidates we have!!

7. Did you miss the end of the debate?
Obama walked right over to Hillary and they embrace/shock hands. It looked like it will later in the general elction. They will support each other even if certain people who profess to admire them will not.

14. I think, more than anything, what this pic shows is that when it comes...
down to beating the other side, we will unify.

Our candidates are a lot better looking than the repukes, too :)

19. Great pic - do you ever wonder if all the "political rivalry" is for show?
I've even heard that once all the day's hot air is spewed on the Senate floor, a lot of the congress critters who are at each other's throats on C-SPAN are having a beer at the pub together later that night - sometimes even across party lines.

I can't help but wonder if a lot of the "tough talk" we see from the candidates, particularly in the heat of the primaries is a just a wee bit staged, and they all know it.

This candid photo shows a lot of camaraderie.

K&R for this fine photo of our Dems!

21. I think it's more than just a wee bit staged...
I'm sure you've seen movies and teevee shows where two lawyers who are at each other's throats during a trial meet in a bar at night and basically talk like they are old friends...I don't think it's really any different in the corridors of Washington, especially since most of them are lawyers.

22. Too many people in Congress have talked about how bitter
the divide is. That is how they use to act, but no more.

24. Hillary looks great in that picture
I'm for Obama, but I saw that picture of Hillary yesterday as well as others that were taken at that same time and she looks great. She looks relaxed and happy in that picture and I think that is a side of her that we don't see enough of.
