Got an old anti-Clinton email, now added to and recycled for this campaign
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 01:30 AM by notmyprez
I got the email from a person who usually sends jokes. The forwarded e-mail, which had already gone around to many people, started by saying "This is not a joke" and ended by saying "Read this before you vote."

So I hit "reply to all," then after "This is not a joke" I wrote "No, it's not a joke but it is FALSE. Here is the entry on the Snopes Urban Legends page." http://www.snopes.com/politics/clintons/landlord.asp

FYI: I am not in the Clinton camp; I'm still undecided as to who I will vote for, but I get so sick of this Rovian neocon crap getting spread around, that whenever I get any, I find the rebuttal on Snopes and make sure I reply to all so that people will know it is bullshit. As we all know, a lot of people still believe this shit.

2. I *am* in Clinton's camp ...
I got the mass-mailing about Barack Obama being a radical Muslim -- with about 200 names appended.

So 200 people got the straight dope about that lie. I got a couple of thank-you replies, too.

I don't mind a good primary fight, but Obama's my co-partisan, and there's a good chance I'll be stuffing envelopes for him instead of Hillary. It's like city kids say -- say anything you want about me, but mess with my brother and you mess with ME.

I just wish we'd fight over better stuff than handshakes and over-analyzed half-sentences.
