10. Why are St. Louis and KC holding their tallies?
Interesting... really, they haven't come in yet? I've been baffled by these early Missouri results.

12. Maybe I'm missing something about your question
Because they have hundreds of times more ballots to count.

19. Oh, no deeper meaning, just remembering primaries in Ohio
Just Election Board gaming, politics-as-sport stuff. Larger precincts can release the votes as a trickle, or hold all of them until something like 60% are in and bomb the media with a confident, current-results-shifting outcome.

I'm just a little caught up in the fun of it, not reading anything nefarious into it at all. :-) Just looking forward to the St Louis and KC results.

17. Ever been to MO? Between KC and St Louis, there isn't much out there
Its pretty easy to count smaller precincts.

7. St Louis.
That's why.

They tend to be the last with their results.

I live in a very red county and everyone I heard polled after voting today said they voted for Hillary and either McCain or Huckabee. The only ones I've heard voting for Obama were later on and they were all first-time voters.
