Look, no one batted an eye when John Kerry self-financed (though he had to mortgage his house). No one cares if Mitt Romney pays for his own campaign (though there is great resentment from the other R candidates). It's "legal," for what it's worth.

I'm an Obama supporter, but if she wants to risk her own money, so be it. I don't have a problem with it.

1. Looks real bad for the campaign.
2. Hurts bringing in money from big contributors.
3. Hurts bringing in money from little contributors.
4. Causes media to question her ability to run a campaign, run the government, etc.
