If Kerry keeps this up, I'm going to start liking him!
I'm watching Wolf Blitzer on CNN and apparently Kerry spoke to reporters saying he has spoken to a few leaders of other countries and they told him they want Bush out. Kerry refused to give names because he was told this in confidence.

SMART move. I like this. If he keeps this up, Kerry will convince me he is a fighter after all. The best part....the lame response from the Bush campaign: the election is in the hands of the American people, not other world leaders. lol

1. That's something that typically a candidate's lieutenant would say.

President Kerry isn't shy about getting his own knuckles bloody.

4. I like it too. I think Kerry and his staff have been shrewd
in picking up ideas from other campaigns (and advice from Ted Kennedy, probably). In this case he's probably learned from Dean and Edwards about how to say what needs to be said (from Dean) in a way that people will listen and agree (Edwards). I think he is probably also practicing the "best defense is a good offense" strategy and I think he is ABSOLUTELY right to do this, as long as he can offer a "real solution" (as did Edwards). There are so many things wrong with the * Admin. and its actions that he has plenty of fodder. I am REALLY glad to see him being aggressive rather than conciliatory.

7. very shrewd. this caught the bush team WAY off guard
Kerry is kicking ass in the polls so for Bush to be reminded that the majority of Americans AND world leaders don't like him...hell, that's brutal!

The gloves are off. This was creative, shocking, and yet it's something we all know even though most people don't talk about it. If Bush wants to bring up 9/11, then Kerry can say with even more confidence that Bush squandered the global support following the tragedy. Add this to the noncooperation with the 9/11 commission, less funding for first time responders, and attacking a country Bush convinced Americans was linked to 9/11 even though it wasn't...I don't see how the republicans can even think bringing up 9/11 is a viable political move on their part.

This makes me curious as to what the Kerry campaign will do next.

5. First this and then him talking about black box voting
I am getting happier with Kerry by the day. I even registered at his website not too long ago. I may be one of the last to jump on the bandwagon, but I don't care I will cry tears of joy when we win in Nov.

The thought of a Kerry presidency makes me giddy with excitement. We should all start thinking about how great his presidency will be compared to this one.

I think my favorite part about a Kerry presidency will be...

an instant loss of the paralyzing fear that I will be stuck in 1984 (my absolute worst nightmare).

I think my hubby and I are going to have a huge party when Shurb goes down. Heck we should have a DU holiday! Every year we come back and pat ourselves on the back for saving this country.

12. You should have heard what Bill Schneider said about that
this morning! It was FUNNY! "Kerry should NEVER have SAID that "out loud" PUBLICLY! Even if some leaders did say that, it is inappropriate for him to repeat it." Hahahahahaha! Like WE care what you think, Bill Schneider? :eyes:
