Honk if you think Clinton supporters should STFU already with this 'cult' propaganda

Their behavior tempts me to call Hill's supporters a cesspool of angry estrogen, but it's actually a lot more like testosterone poisoning.

5. Haven't you noticed
Joe Klein skulking around MSM talking up Clinton. It is clear that he is on her team.

You know, the Primary Colors guy.

2. Check the treads. After it was first posted yesterday many Obama supporters started posting
cult threads on their own in a sarcastic response.

4. If you think Clinton supporters are bad....
Just wait till the Republicans start hammering home the Cult comparisons.

Get used to it now, because if Obama is the nominee you'll be hearing A LOT of it.

7. They won't shut up.
They have their marching orders. Keep saying cult over and over until it sticks.

Some are just bots and repeat what they read. Others got the email for Penn
and are seeding the message all over the net.

9. I'll honk if Obama supporter will stop talking about it all the time also
I'm not even asking that you do that first. But if "cult" talk does fade PLEASE don't keep the memory of it alive for weeks after by dragging it out as something to stay angry about.

Right now "cult" reference threads are still being spawned in great number by all sides.

at least MONITORED? People think this is funny.. its not. I've been around long enough to see what this type of garbage can do and the longlasting effect it can have. It is NOT going to go away. DU might as well shut down if this is all it is used for... the destruction of the democratic party.

Now I've heard it all.

The admins should MONITOR criticism of Obama and his supporters.

WHERE THE FUCK WAS THIS OUTRAGE AND CONDEMNATION WHEN HILLARY WAS BEING PORTRAYED AS THE ANTI-CHRIST FOR MONTHS ON END??

I guess you don't give a fuck about the shit you heap on HER because so many of you were threatening to not even vote for her should she be the nominee. LOUDLY AND OFTEN.

Buncha whining, weak crybabies, and you think this attitude will beat McCain?

"Stop being mean to me!"

Please.

19. I think anyone around the Obama camp
Edited on Fri Feb-08-08 01:21 PM by Fabio
can claim it has the most positive energy in a major political campaign in years. HRC is no shrinking violet, and I think her campaign has largely been a positive one. But Obama's definately is special in history. On the flip side, It is well within reason to argue that a campaign isnt a presidency and therefore HRC is the more experienced, capable choice.

This campaign has always been about the battle between head and the heart for me. I genuinely like both candidates. Clinton's intellect and experience resonate heavily with my head. However, this same brain also harbours some analytical doubts about HRC's electability. Pieces of my heart are with Clinton, because I know getting to where she is as a woman is all the more formidable a task. Yet in total, I think my heart is with Obama, if because fissures of race and xenophobia in this country deeply sadden me (as a white man), and because of his message and oratory. His intellect is pretty formidable too.

But it aint no cult - it's called following your heart.

36. I do hope you're joking.
I know you don't like Obama, but no "serious reading" about cults is needed. I'm 50 years old, and decided on Obama quite a while back. The reason I decided on Obama is: I read his books, I listened to his interviews; I watched him on CSPAN, and I learned everything I could about him. I did the same for Hillary.

This cult bullshit is an insult to each and every Obama supporter. It's really not all that strange that people are drawn to a candidate with a POSITIVE message, and with charisma, as well as smarts.

I discovered disturbing things about HRC, and a new one comes up just about every day, and it seems to me it's the Hillary backers who plug their ears and scream "la la la I can't hear you". That's far more cultish than I've seen from Obama supporters.

I've seen a few troubling things from the Obama campaign, but not nearly as many as from the HRC campaign. It seems to me Hillary's people got the meme to continue the "cult" nonsense, and just like a cult, they're doing it.

If your candidate didn't keep pulling dirty tricks, had a bit more charisma, and a better track record in her 35?????? years, perhaps she too could attract voters like Obama does. She can't. I want a candidate that can win the General Election easily, that's the main reason I support Obama.

You really need to stop insulting the intelligence of Obama supporters. It's petty and desperate looking.

27. Check my list out - I am not in a cult I am in a social "movement"!
They can say Barack's middle name a thousand times -
They can say he is leading a cult and I will laugh in their face -
They can say he is too inexperienced -
They can say that we are all only backing him because he is a brilliant speaker -
They can say it was so much better under Bill and Hillary (she says she was with him for 35 years not me)-
They can say that he lied about taking bundling money -

And I will say - Hussien means "Good and Handsome One" and Barack means "Blessed One".

If a cult is controlled and where no one has a say then I say Obama's supporters are more liberal then any other Democrat supporters. We support his progressive and liberal views and are not blindly being pulled into deceptive practices!

When you look at what he has said and stood for - Not going to War - Pushing for help for Homeless Veterans - Standing up to Condi Rice and the Bush Administration on Blackwater - Introducing and moving through a Bill that stops Lobbyists in their deceitful practices. For this and his stand on Health Care, working together with all parties, and making us a power for good in the World once again.

Yes, he is a brilliant speaker and that is a wonderful attribute to the younger members of our country. If you ask me I would rather be hearing him giving me the information on our country then listening to Hillary and her secretiveness that I feel came out in the early part of her run for the nominiation and then when she saw it didn't work she changed.

Hillary and Bill have more baggage too! They have the following:

Since Hillary has said she has 35 years of accomplishments and ties this to Bill's tail - let's take a look at what they have accomplished:

NAFTA, CAFTA, Communications Bill of 1996 Act, and outsourcing money to India -
Her vote against the people and for the Corporations in the Bankruptcy Bill -
Voting for the Iraq War to invade - not to help protect the troops after they are all ready there -
And not least: Her vote of the so-called "Lieberman-Kyl" resolution on Iran.

On bundling Hillary has taken more:

Check out whitehouseforsale.org at this link:

http://www.whitehouseforsale.org/index.cfm

Hillary Clinton (D)

Total Raised:
$104,571,988
************
Bundlers: 322
Lobbyist Bundlers: 20

Barack Obama (D)

Total Raised:
$101,429,497
************
Bundlers: 359
Lobbyist Bundlers: 10

**************
No matter what they say - I am for Obama!!!!!!!!!!!

And by the way Whoopi - Obama said he was for giving the Corporations the tax breaks in 2006!!!!!!!
