The Clinton campaign should totally sever communications with MSNBC
She shouldn't debate in any of their debates. She should not appear on their shows and she should not speak with their "reporters."

When they fire biased human filth like Andrea Mitchell, Tim Russert, Norah O'Donnell, all masquerading (badly)as journalists, and disallow scum like Howard Fineman from appearing as guests, then the campaign should reassess its stand.

Suspending David Schuster is just the tip of the iceberg. MSNBC needs to revamp their entire lineup.

Ok. I got it off my chest. :)

2. I would be loath to reject any "free" media exposure.
Except for Fox, of course.

3. I totally agree. The Clintons should boycott ANY media outlet that criticizes them
In fact, I hope they stay off TV and radio altogether. That'll teach us!

5. In 2000, the cry was "Don't be mean to Bush!" In 2008, the cry is "Don't be mean to Hillary!"

Looks to me like they are using the same playbook. If this is what the Clintonistas do now, how will they run the country?

7. In fairness, it did work back then.
I doubt there is any real correlation between campaign tactics and policy management once in office.

6. would Hillary prefer to control her own news channel? then take it to Fox
they are blindless ideologs. She already has inroads with Rupert over there.

Hillary keeps sounding more and more like a republican. Now she has gone after the 'libural media' too.

8. I agree.
She should also totally sever communication with the right-wing Fixed Noise.

She should also totally sever communications with the mega-corporation Disney (ABC); the rest of NBC (weapons manufacturer GE); and all the rest of the biased corporate, globalist news media.

She could keep up communications with PBS ... they are sort of liberal.

The beauty of this principled stand against all these biased, filthy "news" organizations is that the rest of us won't have to listen or see Hillary again for a very long time.

11. Why stop there?
I think MSNBC's facilities should be burned to ground by an angry mob. And then people should jump up and down on the charred remains of the broadcasting equipment. That'll teach them! Otherwise, who knows where it will end? Next thing they'll be accusing Hillary's supporters of paranoia or over-dramatization.

Incidentally when I do watch television news it's usually CNN. All I see on NBC is Conan O'Brien - so I'm not carrying water for them.

13. That's fine. Now all Obama has to do is say he'll Debate her on MSNBC
Then, if she accepts, you will all see that she is nothing more than a washington insider... a politician with no morals, and no conscience; anything to win.

15. There is a debate scheduled for MSNBC and one for NBC
Apparently at least the MSNBC one is off. I think they've decided they would rather not debate and this is a ploy to get them out of it.

16. Clinton should not be afraid of criticism.
When the commentators on MSNBC use their free speech right to criticize her, rather than boycotting the network Clinton should come on the network and confront them. If she is afraid to do that then perhaps she deserves the criticism.

17. I disagree. I think she is playing it just right
She elevated this to the level where both MSNBC and many Americans had to sit up and take notice. She has not overly rushed to make nice with them over this. She is making her point. It is like when a nation recalls their ambassador for consultations over some troublesome incident. Usually after a decent interval, the ambassador returns, severing all diplomatic ties is not the reply usually settled on.

18. I am going to bookmark this thread
and if Obama gets the nod and we start seeing him treated like Clinton has been treated I am simply going to quote back the exact same crap I am hearing here. If you support Obama, and think the conduct of MSNBC has been just fine, then you are in for a real rough ride if your candidate actually gets the nomination. And don't come crying to those of us who have been complaining now.

19. I agree, she should not appear on any television.
She should boycott the MSNBC debates, but they should still invite Obama. Just let him do his stump speech. They can say they invited Hillary but she declined to appear. Her loss.

21. she should start her own media channel so she can control the flow of information
and stop talking to reporters at all. Just issue press releases.

Freedom of the press is overrated, right?

22. It's amazing isn't it
One of these days it would be nice if she could just concentrate on beating Obama, but instead she has to single-handedly take on the media, the right wing, the far left wing, the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker. Jeesh
