Did Hillary Clinton strong-arm MSNBC into an illegal campaign contribution?

I have never seen a news organization (FOX aside) run the bio of just one candidate on an election night.

My question is, was MSNBC asked to run the Clinton bio in a quid-pro-pro?

I think that if this is the case, it is despicable.
