2. Link please? Or a bit more explanation?
Obama must be getting more votes in LA than Clinton -- so, why is a comparison between Clinton in LA and Obama in WA sensible?

Are you hoping for a national popular vote in the primaries instead of a delegate system? That is fine with me so long as all of the states take the same step at the same time.

4. Yes...Obama got 19,000 or so votes total in Washington...around
67% of those who voted...people don't vote at caucuses like they do for primaries.

3. Caucus's are not.
That is why the media and the left wing morans are pushing them in Florida and Michigan
Obama can win them.
35,000 people took part in the Washington caucus on the Democratic side.
1.5 Million people voted for John Kerry in Washington state in 2004.

9. Over 200,000 WA Democrats participated in today's caucuses
The numbers that you are seeing on CNN and wherever are the number of Legislative District/County delegates. They only represent a proportion of the people participating. The numbers are not the number of people voting.

6. You're comparing votes to delegates.
Edited on Sat Feb-09-08 10:16 PM by Bleachers7
You're mixed up. They're counting votes in Louisiana. They're counting delegates in Washington.

10. Do you know the difference between voters and caucus delegates?
Because even though the reports say "votes", caucus states report delegates, not voters.

I made the same mistake with Nevada and helpful DUers corrected me.
