Obama Q&A at Alexandria VA.

I just watched Obama's speech in VA (on CNN.com) and after he finished, he took 6-7 questions from the audience. This, I felt, was a very good format for him to provide detailed answers to voters questions. He got questions about working with S. American countries, improving the situation in African countries, don't ask don't tell (from a gay vet), how to get more mentors for students. A lady from Hawaii asked why she should vote for him (husband is campaigning for Hillary, son loves Obama). He gave a great answer for this, enumerating 4 reasons why and finishing with a joke (I'm a local guy from Hawaii).

I continue to be impressed by his ability to be clear in his aims and goals and to answer questions directly.

...that policy is wrong. It ends up punishing individuals who want to serve the country, who want to defend the country.
