I'd like for him to start focusing on the general election now.

How will he handle McCain?

Obama has positioned himself to win independents and moderate Repubs.

but Obama has to be careful. My husband, who is no spring chicken, voted for Obama in the primary.

However, my husband is a former Navy fighter pilot like McCain. If he thinks that Obama is dissing old people, then he will vote McCain. I think Obama would lose other older voters too, and there are lots of older voters!

I think McCain will be a much more formidable opponent than Hillary. And he will fight much dirtier too.

I just say these things so that we can be prepared. I do NOT want a Repub in the White House.
