Doesn't that at least look weird?

Obamites: Relax. This is a joke playing on the fact a high percentage of folks living in DC work for the government and related institutions. Have a beer and enjoy your guy's wins tonight!

1. Huh????
What do the citizens of DC have to do with the politicians on Capitol Hill? I'm lost here.

2. Are you a moron?
So when politicians talk about changing Washington, they're talking about the average folk on the street? No, they're talking about Congress and lobbyists, many of whom don't even live in DC.

4. If I was an Obama speechwriter
Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 09:52 PM by Patsy Stone
I would have found a way to get in the phrase, "And tonight, Washington, DC itself voted for change."

14. 'Non-State' Washington, D.C.?
I don't think it looks weird at all ... a change from "no taxation without representation" to statehood is a big and overdue change!

(Note that that change did not happen in 1993-1995 when we last had a Democratic President and Congress.)
