John Glenn endorsed HC yesterday.
Glenn was one of Ohio's senators for a long time and of course he was also the first American to orbit the Earth. He may be a national hero, but here in Ohio he is seen as a kind of demigod.

Anyway, I heard on NPR that he endorsed HC yesterday. He expressed confidence in her management ability.

2. I think the story would have been if he didn't endorse.
He's been a supporter of the Clintons from way back, especially in Bill's 1992 primary race.

3. I'm afraid of Astronauts. They have aliens living in their chests, and they can only eat from a tube

5. Yes, but they are nice aliens.
They are like Spock or ET, not like the martians from War of the Worlds.

It was a JOKE on the RW who will label anyone "way out there" and think it suffices as argument.

Space pioneer Glenn gives nod to Clinton
From staff and wire reports

WASHINGTON — Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton's effort to win Ohio's critical presidential primary got a boost Tuesday when former senator and astronaut John Glenn endorsed her candidacy.

Clinton is counting on a win on March 4 in primaries in Ohio and Texas — where a combined 334 Democratic delegates are at stake — to reinvigorate her candidacy.

"With all of the challenges facing Ohio and America, we need a leader who can deliver real solutions on her first day in office," Glenn said in a statement released by Clinton's campaign.

In 1962, Glenn, a Marine pilot, was the first American to orbit the Earth, becoming an instant national hero.

10. Who? Reminds me of the Grammys the other night. The great Keeley Smith
graced the staged and hardly anybody knew who she was. Same thing with Glenn. You have to be over a certain age to get it.
