cspan technical problems for John Kerry event
i am so angry about this. they always fuck up at john kerry events with their "technical difficulty" . they never have problems showing the chimp. so are they going to show this later or what ? do they have it on tape or anything to show later or do we miss the entire thing ?

1. Don't feel alone. They botch up Kucinich answers at the
most important times. And they don't cover major anti-war events or show the size of the crowds at the ones they do cover.

It's Brian Lamms baby, and he does what HE wants. You're right to be suspicious.

2. Watching ABC World News Now overnight Sunday night
Edited on Tue Mar-16-04 09:17 PM by nu_duer
they were showing the mother of a soldier who had died in Iraq, for bush's lies, and was now protesting the invasion. They showed a clip of her speaking. During the first half of the clip, the audio did not match the video, it came across like a cheap kung-fu movie where the lip movements don't match what's being said. About halfway thru, the audio went out completely, and the video continued silently for a considerable time, then back to the anchors, who didn't mention the "tech. difficulties" at all.

This peice was after reports of: "Spanish voters reward terrorists" and "bush raises another million" (with bush and laura at some glamorous gala) and "question of which leaders dogs Kerry" with Kerry at a town hall in a tense moment with a republican plant.

When I was pulling for Dean to win, I said, and many said, much to the disliking of some Kerry supporters, that the media would turn on Kerry as well, as soon as it served the master. Now that it is clear Kerry will be the nominee, I am 100% benind him. But I am not surprised that the same media that was tearing down Dean is now busy hitting Kerry. That time has come.

3. Kerry Disconnect
We have a similar problem in New Hamopshire with the only TV station in the state (WMUR). They
have plenty of technical power. But, typically, if it's a Democratic or liberal story to tell, things go dark.
They even had a "techinical difficulty" during a nationally televised debate between Gore & Bush. You'd
think they would have wanted to make a big impression on the Nation regarding NH's importance in
all of this, but ... there was reason to screw around with the debate.
