11. I also sent them a cryptic note saying that
they should have framed the question:Would a change in Presidents HELP in the war on terror? and the answer would be a resounding YES

27. I doubt that.
Reframing the question would not change the response.

People are idiots. They don't see the big picture. They make judgements on pre-conceptions.

Most people think Bush is stronger on fighting terrorism than Kerry. They're wrong, but that doesn't matter. You don't need to think to vote.

All the more reason Kerry needs a VP with strong defense credentials and credibility. Having been a junior officer in Vietnam is not the same.

8. Jean, the "war on terror" usually refers to Al Qaeda, and not Iraq
It is only Bush and his minions who have tried to morph the two!

(added on edit)

Bush has wasted time, money and lives regime-changing and nation-building in Iraq.

He has lost focus on terrorism, for instance, spending 1.3b in Afghanistan (where bin Ladin and crew are) and 250b plus in Iraq where bin Ladin is not.

al-Qaeda is now using bush's nation-building playground (the failed state of Iraq) as a terrorist training ground with unlimited live targets.

msnbc and all others continue to evoke "The War On Terror" when it is nothing but a less than half-assed effort by bush and all of his departments (Homeland Security, Defense, whatever else you can name).

just which buttons to push to get them to repeat this tripe--endlessly.

5. GGGrrrrr.....
This poll and the piece of crap posted on CNN are both tilted to Bushco's agenda.

These f-ers are really getting blatant about spreading WH propaganda.

23. LOL
This is Bush's "strategery" to win the election.

"I'm a war president, so we can't change presidents in a war!"

Meanwhile the country is falling apart here at home, and we soon won't have anything left of our beautiful country.

Maybe Clark as VP might make some sense in this kind of fear-mongering environment.

35. What a disgusting question..
Can you imagine, this is the type of crap coming from the mainstream media 8 MONTHS BEFORE the election, WITHOUT a terrorist attack! What'll happen if there IS a terrorist attack within the months before November? What level will the anti-democratic discourse sink to THEN?

Unreal..

Keeping the one we got will continue to hurt the war on terror--inflamed by the current president Bush--with his unnecessary, inflammatory war in Iraq.
