Do NOT attack Obama
He will call you out on your BS and make you look foolish.

Unlike other politicians, Obama does not hesitate to respond to attacks. He refuses to be labeled, and always turns all criticism back against his opponents. All of Hillary's attacks backfired, and I can't wait to see what the republicans are going to try to do. Obama is the real deal, and the republicans don't know what's coming towards him.

I get excited whenever someone launches an attack against Obama. They are playing right into Obama's game, and I can't wait to hear his eloquently crafted response. He has a political gift.

2. The saddest thing is that the only one who has been attacking him
has been a Dem. On the plus side, he's getting practiced in defending himself.

13. Agreed - I think it's a good thing in the long run...
There were a few moments when Bill Clinton got to Barack ~ it was just what he needed to prepare him for the general.

15. He's been getting lawyered-up, so to speak.
:D

I am quite disappointed in the way many DUers have been conducting themselves toward each other lately. I came here for some relief from a painful situation, tried to calm things down a bit, but alas I am out of energy now.

I am stepping out of this circular firing squad.

3. He counter-attacks with grace.
He really has a political skill. The Clinton campaign can't figure out how to hit him. McBush will be even more confused.

5. The MSM will figure out how to hit him.
They have been spinning every incident against Hillary and making Obama look like some kind of political genius.

Just you wait Henry Higgins, just you wait.
(You'll be sorry but your tears will be too late.)

18. I am sure the M$M will turn on whichever Dem is in the GE.
I am also sure that Obama and Axelrod are ready, willing and able.

The M$M is the sludge that we are forced to deal with. But, we can't blame them for everything that happens. The system has to be worked.

Gore, Dean and Kerry couldn't do it. Kucinich and Edwards couldn't do it. Hillary is proving unable to do it. Obama is doing it. And when the worm turns, he'll be ready to keep on keeping on.

11. When Clinton called him out on the mailers, she said:
"Meet me in Ohio," she said. "Let's have a debate about your tactics and your behavior in this campaign."

I have no doubt that he will take her up on that challenge, and it won't be pretty. If she truly wants to go that route, which I think is what is going to happen, she is going to get quite a bit thrown right back at her.

the difference between him and HRC is he handles the attacks with class and grace. It's one of many reasons why he will win and she will lose.

19. It's a PRIMARY, people
And that means two candidates are running against each other! Imagine that! When people run against each other, they will attack each other. As much as we'd like to see calm discussions of issues, never, in all the years I've been voting, have I seen an attack-free campaign.

What we're seeing is NOT unusual. In fact, compared to many other primaries, it's been relatively clean.

To say that no one should attack Obama, including Hillary, is just weird. He's fair game, just as Hillary is.

22. I have to say, he's responded to the primary attacks admirably
He's kept positive, and made the attacker look stupid, just like Reagan used to do.

I honestly believe McCain will try something, and Obama will do the equivalent of (or perhaps literally) "there you go again", and it will be just as effective.

News flash, Democrats: Having a charismatic and attractive leader is a Good Thing.
