Here's what we all need to do to help Kerry (add your own)...

1) Gather news reports about Kerry's campaign movements and post them here in the appropriate forum and discuss them.

2) Post Poll numbers from different localities and discussions about those poll numbers and what can be done to alter talking points about Kerry.

3) Post local websites about Kerry

4) Announce press releases from those websites and especially from the Kerry campaign.

5) Announce times and dates about local gatherings and tv and radio appearances and anything to "help" Kerry get the word out and discuss them afterwards - what worked and what didn't.

6) Have a "real" discussion about Kerry where talking points against him can become so boring you can refute them in your sleep.

7) Entertain different perspectives before dismissing them outright. (read #9)

8) In other words, listen to us idiots (like me), if only because some of us do believe in the idea that we all have to work together to get Bush out. (read #9)

9) but, don't listen to the "pretend" Kerry supporters or "pretend" Dean supporters. You can tell who they are because they try to divide rather than unite us. Read what they say if you have time, but always ask yourself, will this help us or divide us?

4. Millions of people didn't vote in 2000

Because they aren't registered and because they don't know a thing about it.

Carry registration forms with you at all times and ask everybody who expresses the slightest dissatisfaction with Bush if they are registered.

Then ask if their spouse/ roomate/ boyfriend is.

Then educate them a little bit on why their vote is important and why they are needed in the down-ticket races.

One by one, bit by bit, we can increase our turnout.
