So who's going to save the democrats in 2012 if Obama loses to McCain?

23. Hillary has run an awful campaign, and continues to do so.
Her 50%+1 strategy and addiction to overpriced consultants would be a serious general election problem for her.

15. If, God forbid, McCain were to win this year
I say we try running an acutal progressive Democrat in 2012. I'm not impressed with the Republican Lite choice we're going to have this year, but I suppose it's better than a hard core Republican like McCain.

8. Obama is the best one to defeat McCain....so your question is sorta like...
...asking what is going to happen to the Democratic Party if the Cubs win the World Series three years in a row!

9. Look, McCain is toast and either candidate will easily beat him.
If not, then there is serious fraud going on.

The way Obama is turning out the vote - it's a non-issue anyway - despite her best efforts.

16. oh i think obama can beat mccain --
and think the strategies that allowed for two election thefts are well scrutinized.

but obama and the donnie thing will make never make it possible for me to be happy that he is the prez -- that and these messianic projections from his speeches.
