I think that's great, but Howard Stern's going to find himself in real legal trouble if he continues to ask listeners to contribute to a particular political campaign. Hope it works out, but it doesn't sound smart.
Does Rush Limbaugh ask his listeners to contribute money to the Bush Campaign? If so that would also seem to present problems for both the FCC and the FEC.
And it is part of the reason that big media needs to be deconsolidated. Imagine if FOX News and NBC began openly asking people to donate to Bush. 24/7 advirtisements for the Republican Party. Without a fairness doctrine they can do it.
What if Clear Channel hired noone but Republicans who asked folks to donate to the Republican Party?

Getting the anti-Bush message out to the very people who need it most. I hope you're right about it being legal. On the other hand, Howard may be trying to get himself fired because he's got a satellite radio job lined up!
