sounds like Richardson will endorse Obama.
He will not say it outright to Blitzer, but just by what he is saying makes me think so. He also said his endorsement won't mean much and doesn't consider himself too important in the matter.

first, he said NM was very close so he feels free to endorse either.
second, said he is being wooed by many people from the Clinton camp for his super vote - mr. and mrs. friends, etc., but only got one call from the Barack himself on the matter.
third, doesn't agree with Clinton on Obama's lack of foreign policy exp. and named some off.

1. I had the same impression - he might want to wait to see if the campaign ends before he has to go
against his former patrons, as it were.

3. yep, I recall hearing that too. that would be a feather, for sure.
Richardson now has a beard.
Must be fairly new growth, looks good on him.

Overall, he seems like a good shit - I liked most of what he said in the debates he was in.

4. I am still not so sure...
I'm from New Mexico. Generally I like Bill - but I'm not impressed by his endless waffling on this.

I could easily see him end up endorsing Clinton - but if he does endorse Obama - I'm only going to see it as him
"going with the time" - rather than as something well thought out and principled.

I'm not so impressed with Edward's waffling. I can't understand how he does not know them well enough to
make a decision. He looks like he is seeing who will pander him to him most at this stage.

Bill does the same - playing up his Superbowl get together with Bill Clinton - and how they are "all calling him"
Just decide Bill.

The other choice for these indecisive fellows is to state clearly "I will not be endorsing anyone"

I think that would have been Edwards' best move - he could have become the "Al Core of Poverty".

8. Bill is probably waitng to back whoever will give him the
best cabinet position, or he may choose to run for Dominici's seat against the loathsome heather Wilson. That would fuck over Tom Udall the other Dem senate candidate, but either will crush Heather without too much difficulty. Would also give NM its first woman Gov, Dianne Denish, who is pretty good too.

Edwards endorsement means less and less as time goes on. if he wants it to be meaningful it needs to come real soon, like this week. Even at that he has delayed enough to where I think it will make no difference and is now completely devalued.

6. I saw the interview and agree with your interpretation, Also when he did not endorse after watching
The super bowl with Bill Clinton I assumed that Hillary was not going to get his endorsement as long as the contest for the nomination was on going.

The only possible down side to doing this while the battle continues is it may effect his consideration for the V.P. slot. You don't want it to look like his endorsement was traded for that job.

7. It became a foregone conclusion to me...
... that he would endorse Obama when he did NOT endorse Hillary before Super Tuesday. They were working furiously for that endorsement and he chose to sit it out. A non-endorsement as endorsement of the opponent.

He's a near perfect running mate for Obama and he knows it. To endorse Hillary would have been damaging to that opportunity.

9. You may be right
he would be a real asset to either one as VP. And he is very well qualified to be president should the necessity arise.
