Positives/negatives of candidates: for longer-term DUers

Here's a two-part idea...

Part one: post 5 traits (adjectives, personality descriptors--like funny, brilliant, etc.) here you ADMIRE MOST about your favorite candidate. This works best if you really, really like your candidate!

Then post 5 traits you LIKE LEAST about the opposing candidate--McCain, or Obama/Clinton, pick one, or pick all, your choice. It works best if you choose a candidate who really drives you nuts. (This could even be from a prior election.)

PLEASE DON'T NAME THE CANDIDATES YOU ARE DESCRIBING (no need to inspire hostility here).

Part two will follow...

I'll start:

ADMIRE about favorite candidate: articulate, tough, knowledgeable, fights for underdog, empathetic
LIKE LEAST about other candidate: confusing, self-involved, lacks substance/empty, extremely sensitive to criticism, naive

Inspiring, people-powered, direct, smart, honest.

Wonkish, ineffectual, uncharismatic, party-machine-powered, effete.

2. Fav: Trusts Open government, persuasive, open government, unafraid to reach out to wiser figures,

respects citizens' right to open government.

Least: Secretive, protective of closed government, opportunistic when attacking other Dems but unwilling to boldly confront BushInc, needy.

4. It will help for later if you define 'open government' for yourself.. as in

do you like that because it means this person seems honest, or trustworthy, or powerful??

admirable history, good judgment, unflappable, great tactitian and organizer, grassroots oriented

history of connections with corruption, brittle, whiny, dishonest, feels entitled.
