2. I will vote for the ultimate winner BUT
I didn't vote in your poll, because I don't like the term "hold your nose" (it's what people said about Gore, and they were so, so wrong).

5. Sorry I didn't see the other polls, but to be honest I avoid GD-P like the
plague.

Nice to know the radical amongst us will elect another Republican instead of ___________ if _________ isn't on the ticket.

Fools.

10. I think that's a bunch of crap
99.456% of the "Dems" on this board will vote for the Dem ticket...

A lot of it is scaremongering on both sides...

4. I will NOT vote for McCain, other than that, I haven't decided
I started this primary supporting Obama but liking Hillary and knowing i could easily vote for either in the GE. My feelings toward her have changed. I hate the thought of holding my nose and voting for her, but I am certain i do not want McCain to win. So if it comes down to it and I feel that is the only way to keep McCain from winning I'm sure she'll get my vote.

6. I'll vote for Clinton if she gets the nomination, but I probably won't volunteer
Mainly because I'd feel incredibly uncomfortable asking African Americans to come out and support her if she got the nomination despite having fewer pledged delegates and fewer votes. And I live in a pretty mixed-race area, so it's not like I could just avoid talking to African Americans if I went canvassing. But I'd vote for her. I might say I won't, but at the end of the day, when I went into the voting booth, I can't see myself doing anything but voting for a Democrat for president.

7. the only way 'my' candidate doesn't win is if the super delegates
are awarded to the person with less popular vote & delegates then the "winner" would have, or because MI & FL were seated without another election.

In that case - i'll stay home.

11. The people who voted for the first option aren't Democrats.
They are anonymous MORONS who can't see the big picture. Crybabies, cranks, and fools.

Bitter, angry acolytes who believe in MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY.

They're people who don't give a flying FUCK about the future of this country. And they sure don't give a shit about the essential principles of the Democratic Party.

How anyone could think that even the worst Democrat in the world won't make better Supreme Court picks is beyond me. And those Supreme Court picks influence generations of Americans....!

:eyes:

14. "Acolytes"?
1. One who assists the celebrant in the performance of liturgical rites.
2. A devoted follower or attendant.

I'm an agnostic.

I'm also a DINO who refuses to be bullied into voting for people who haven't earned my vote.

17. A Devoted Follower or Attendant.
You do realize that those definitions are SEPARATE, don't you? That definition two does not necessarily build on definition one?

Using definition two, you can be a fucking sun/rock/self worshipper, and still be a 'devoted follower or attendant' of something or someone. Religion has nothing to do with it.

Don't be bullied, I don't really give a fuck. Satisfy yourself with your proud DINO designation--because being a DINO is probably every bit as sensible, in the big picture, as being a Republican.

Keep this in mind: IF McCain puts a crew on the SC that rolls back Roe and decides that Civil Rights legislation is bullshit, and "States' Rights" should prevail, and neither tierra nor libertad should be automatically granted to all of our citizens, but tests, like skin color, wealth, ethnicity, or political connections should be permitted by LAW to be considered, don't you dare come here crying about how your goddamned DINO 'rights' are being abrogated--because you, "my friend," will have been a brick in the Wall of Intolerance built by the House of McCain.

I will hold you responsible and accountable.

18. Still wrong.
I'm not a devoted follower or attendant to anyone or anything. Including the Democratic Party.

And, spare me the sky-is-falling rhetoric. I've been hearing that since I started voting in '66.

It's the lockstep "good Democrats" like you and the DLC triangulaters that have driven the party to the right.

You put them in office and then play apologist when they vote with Republicans and don't hold them accountable because of "party loyalty" that deems any betrayal on their part as acceptable because their "not as bad" as the Repubs and have (D) after their name.

They count on the likes of you to keep them in power despite their crimes.

19. No, I am not "still wrong." That is the view I hold of you, and I really could care less if you
object to it. It won't change my perception.

Like it or not, you don't run the show, no matter how many tantrums you toss.

It's a big tent, and all of us have a say. The "likes of you" notwithstanding.

13. Jesus, you people need to fall in line.
Either Democratic option is infinitely better than McCain.

McCain is out of his goddamned mind, and our country is on the brink.

Fight hard for your candidate, but when the general comes, it's time to combine our efforts.

15. I refuse to "fall into line" with stupidity
I do not necessarily consider myself a democrat. This is my voting record:

1984: Reagan
1988: Bush
1992: Clinton
1996: Clinton
2000: Gore
2004: Kerry

I like to think I've gotten smarter with age, but I will not be bullied into voting for someone I cannot support. I'd rather see the party completely crash and have a new system emerge, ideally with more than 2 parties.

Those of you who insist on "falling into line" might consider that some of us think outside the box. I'm an upper income (250K+) married woman, masters' degree, stay-at-home mom, and athiest. I grew up poor and now live very comfortably. I've done fairly well believing in myself so far, and will not be told how to vote or how to think.

This election I believe Barack Obama is the right choice for our country, and I've donated to his campaign both with time and cold cash. If he is out of the race by Nov. I reserve my right as an American to access the choices and vote accordingly.

20. I'm not so low as to be a "true Democrat"; but I'd hold my nose and vote for Hillary.
Hey, I'm used to holding my nose and voting for the lesser evil, who then proceeds to lose to the greater evil. Why not once more?

But then I would cooperate with any effort to start a viable third party -- or maybe just give up on the U.S. and retire to another country.
