I never realized how privileged black people were in our country!
Thank you, Geraldine Ferraro! I'm sure the knuckle draggers at Free Republic and Stormfront hooted in agreement.
What disgusts me the most about her absurd remarks, is that she defends them by accusing OBAMA of being racist.

4. My racist asshole Brother-in-Law
gets all upset every time the United Negro College Fund runs a commercial about what inventions African Americans came up with... it's repulsive to hear him mutter about "why do they have to shove it in my face" or "who cares about traffic lights". He is so racist that he can't help himself, he has to make a comment every time the commercial airs. Fortunately, if Obama is our nominee, out of the 13 voting age member of our family, 5 will vote for Obama, the rest for McCain (I'm in AZ right now)... however, if Hillary is the nominee, 12 will vote for McCain, one will not vote (that would be me, unless Hillary somehow wins the pledged delegate count).

There are many closet racists... but they are generally older and, hopefully, not going to be as big an issue in 20 to 30 years time.

5. Yes, they are older...as much as people want to spit on my generation...
we are, by and large, more accepting than the one who came before us...and the new generation coming up now, even more accepting than mine is.

6. Have you seen these new statistics about how lucky African-American men are?

7. Truly, those black men and women are lucky ducks!
I'm so jealous of how they get to grow up in ghettos and go to inner city schools that have no money and no hope.
I'm so envious of how they get to avoid drug dealers, endure broken families, and broken dreams, and get kicked around by a society that largely doesn't give a shit about them.
I am HOPPING mad that they get so many opportunities to get killed, jailed, or impoverished that so many of us white folk will NEVER have.
